The MUSC Wellness Center's Human Performance Lab provides members with the state-of-the-art equipment and certified staff to help evaluate general health and body composition. The facility utilizes the Evolt 360 body scanner and InBody 570 body composition analyzer. After an assessment is completed, a professional team member will discuss results, determine limitations, develop training strategies, and suggest programs to help best achieve your fitness and health goals

InBody 570 Body Composition Analyzer

The InBody 570 body composition analyzer provides standard outputs like Percent Body Fat, Skeletal Muscle Mass, and BMR, plus total body water, visceral fat assessment, and other vital measurements. This very accurate and non-invasive tool can provide data that can aid in the prevention, management, and/or even the reversal of certain chronic diseases (e.g. obesity, diabetes, sarcopenia, cardiovascular disease, and more). MUSC is proud to join other top academic health and science centers in the country who use InBody 570 to improve health and awareness: Johns Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, and Mayo Clinic.
