Innovation District

Life-changing ideas made real

The Innovation District is a transformative initiative to create a vibrant ecosystem for health transformation and innovation in the heart of the Charleston community.

The district aims to improve patient care, support groundbreaking research, and stimulate the South Carolina economy through innovation. Envisioned as a mixed-use area, it will attract exceptional talent, foster startups and promote continuous breakthroughs in patient outcomes and experience. Ultimately, it will elevate opportunities for the local community.

Imagine a district in the heart of Charleston with an impact throughout the state and nation. Imagine a district where universities, corporations, manufacturers, dreamers, and philanthropists come together to create a new level of what is possible.
