Charleston, S.C. (August 19, 2026) – MUSC Health and Cigna have agreed to extend their current contract through June 30, 2027.
As a result, MUSC Health physicians, hospitals, and other covered services will remain in network for members enrolled in Cigna plans included in the agreement. Cigna members may continue receiving care at MUSC Health without interruption.
Patients do not need to take any action at this time. Because coverage can vary by employer and benefit plan, patients are encouraged to confirm their specific network status and benefits by contacting Cigna using the telephone number on the back of their insurance card.
