CHARLESTON, S.C. (Sept. 15, 2026) – Kiawah Island Club was honored to partner with their member and friend, Greg Olsen, and his family to host the Fifth Annual HEARTest Yard Celebrity Classic presented by Hendrick Lexus Charleston on June 7 and 8, 2026, at the Club’s Cassique golf course.
The event raised a record $400,000, 100% of which will go toward funding the expansion of this incredible pediatric cardiovascular foundation’s services to patients and families in the Charleston region in partnership with the Medical University of South Carolina (“MUSC”). Olsen will be on hand at the hospital at 10 a.m. Sept. 16, 2026, to present the event proceeds to MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. (SJCH)

The Olsens founded the HEARTest Yard in 2012, after their son, T.J., was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. This year’s gift to MUSC goes $100,000 over their $300,000 annual commitment, allowing the growth and expansion of the HEARTest Yard Family Wellness and Resource Center at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, which provides comprehensive mental and emotional support for pediatric heart patients and their families.
“For families caring for a child with congenital heart disease, the challenges don’t end when they leave the hospital,” said Mark Scheurer, M.D., MUSC chief of Children’s and Women’s Services. “The HEARTest Yard Family Wellness and Resource Center gives these families a place to turn for support, education and resources. This gift will help us expand that support and reach even more families across the region.”
MUSC and South Street Partners have a long-standing collaboration to expand health care access across the region. In 2024, Kiawah Partners, owned by South Street Partners, donated a 3-acre parcel valued at $6 million for the MUSC Health Kiawah Partners Pavilion. The 12,056-square-foot facility now provides emergency and specialty care to the Sea Islands.

About the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital
