Scholarship Fund
The MUWC offers annual scholarships to deserving Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) students from the six MUSC colleges (College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Dental Medicine, College of Health Professions, College of Graduate Studies, and College of Nursing). All full-time students in their second or subsequent years from any of the six MUSC colleges are eligible and encouraged to apply. Previous applicants may reapply.

The deadline for submission of all applications is the first Friday in October of each calendar year by 5 p.m. Applications must be submitted via email to muwcscholarship@gmail.com. No paper applications will be accepted. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
The Scholarship Committee of the MUWC will review the applications and select scholarship recipients based on financial need, academic achievement, and University and community service. An applicant's transcript (does not have to be official), personal statement, and letter of recommendation from a MUSC faculty member are required and are an important part of each application.

MUWC Awards Scholarships
In the fall of 2025, the MUWC presented $65,000 in scholarships to 15 MUSC students from all six MUSC colleges. From a large pool of highly qualified scholarship applicants, the following students were selected:
