MUSC Health Catawba Division

All Ambulatory clinics in Lancaster, Chester, Indian Land, Richburg, and Great Falls will be closed Monday, February 2.

MUSC Health Charleston Division 

Health clinics and ambulatory sites in the Charleston area will return to normal schedules on Monday, Feb. 2.

MUSC Health Midlands Division

MUSC Health Elgin Urgent Care will be closed on Sunday, February 1.

On Monday, February 2, all MUSC Health outpatient locations and clinics in the following counties will operate on a 2 hour delay: Richland, Lexington, Kershaw, Bamberg (cardiology only) and Newberry counties. 

MUSC Health – Orangeburg

On Monday, February 2, all hospital outpatient departments and medical practices in Bamberg, Calhoun, and Orangeburg counties will be on a two-hour delay. Virtual appointments will not be affected by this modification.

MUSC Health Pee Dee Division

Due to dangerous weather conditions across the Carolinas, all outpatient services at MUSC Health Florence, Marion and Black River Medical Centers, the Florence Women’s Pavilion, and the MUSC Health Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion will be closed on Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1.

Due to travel advisories across the Pee Dee region, all ambulatory clinics (Florence, Darlington, Marion, Mullins, Pamplico, Lake City, and Kingstree) and all scheduled outpatient services at MUSC Health Florence, Marion and Black River Medical Centers, the Florence Women’s Pavilion, and the MUSC Health Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion will operate on a two‑hour delay on Monday, February 2.

Patients with scheduled appointments will be contacted directly. 

MUSC Health Outpatient Pharmacy at Florence Medical Center will open at 10:00 am on Monday, February 2.

University Students and Employees

The University campus and the Wellness Center will be returning to normal operations at noon on Monday, February 2. ‌

Classes with start times before noon on Monday are canceled. Classes starting noon or later will occur as planned but may be held remotely at the instructor's discretion.‌ University dental clinics will open at noon on Monday.‌

Supervisors may use their discretion to approve virtual work for the remainder of the day, as work and class schedules permit. ‌Our Facilities Grounds Team will be salting sidewalks around campus for safety. Please refer to the below map for more information.
