The MUSC Center for Workplace Well-being Leads Program is a cornerstone initiative designed to advance a thriving, engaged, and sustainable workforce across the enterprise. Through a network of dedicated faculty leaders embedded within each of MUSC’s six colleges, the program integrates well-being into the fabric of daily work and academic life by supporting faculty and staff through evidence-informed, collaborative, and sustainable initiatives that promote well-being culture, efficiency of work, and personal well-being.
Well-being leads serve as local champions and system-level leaders, partnering closely with departmental and institutional leadership to promote a culture where faculty, staff, and learners can flourish. Each Well-being Lead is equipped with training in areas such as stress first aid, peer support, leadership, and change management, and plays a critical role in translating institutional priorities into meaningful local action.
