Academic Business Office Staff
Responsible for the administration and management of the Department’s finances as appropriate for MUSC/UMA/MUSCF/VA/FRD
Oversee management of Clinical/Research/Human Resources/IT/Physical Asset Management and assist with Strategic Planning
Provides administrative support to Department Chair, and supports the Cytopathology, Dermatopathology, Forensic Pathology and Surgical Pathology fellowship programs
Supervises various accounting functions, daily procurement activities, and monitors departmental
budgets to include posting of revenue and expenditures and monthly reconciliations.

Serves as International Office liaison
Assists with travel arrangements/reimbursements

Provides procurement support to all areas of the Department other than MUHA to include equipment, supplies and services
Accountant/Fiscal Analyst II
Responsible for coordination and management of the accounting activities in the department to including monitoring
account balances as well as assisting with financial reporting. Also serves as liaison between department and UMA
in resolving revenue cycle issues.
Kevin will independently coordinate grants and contract proposals and awards for the Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Responsible for receipt and delivery of all shipments to the Department
Serves as courier for on/off campus deliveries
Provides administrative support to the Department Administrator and Department Chair
Processes client professional billing and provides follow-up collection activity for delinquent reimbursement
Serves as assistant conference coordinator for the McKee Cytology Seminar, Pratt-Thomas Symposium in Surgical Pathology, and the Gadsden-Holbrook Symposium in Laboratory Medicine
