The Wellness Center will be closed all day on July 4th.
MUSC Wellness Center is open to the public to promote healthy lifestyles for all seasons of life. Drawing from MUSC’s many healthcare experts, the Center provides evidence-based safe and effective fitness programs to support a culture of wellness for MUSC students, faculty, staff, and the Charleston community.
Qualified Health Professional Staff & Personalized Experience
Everyone’s wellness journey varies. With that in mind, the MUSC Wellness Center offers a wide range of expert guidance, ranging from nutritionists to health coaches. We will assemble the right team of MUSC experts to meet your health goals. Our staff consists of medical professionals, nutritionists, fitness consultants, and certified personal trainers.
State-of-the-Art Amenities
Our 80,000 SF facility houses a wide range of activities to cater to all fitness interests: two weight rooms, large cardio room, a full court gymnasium, racquetball and squash courts, a Jr. Olympic swimming pool, group cycle studio, group exercise rooms, and yoga and Pilates studios. Opening Fall 2017, our newly renovated sports deck will feature an outdoor running track, functional training equipment, and tennis and basketball court(s).
National Award Winning Programs
We are home to the national, award-winning Healthy Charleston Challenge program, and partner with MUSC Sports Medicine for Injury Prevention clinics.
Innovation & Wellness Equipment
MUSC Wellness Center believes in using the latest in technology, such as our InBody composition analyzer and trending health apps to help you get to where you want to be. We provide over 100 pieces of cardiovascular equipment.
Cleanliness
We follow the highest sanitation and safety healthcare standards in the industry for our towel service, locker rooms, sauna and steam room, pool, fitness equipment, and areas. Our friendly, professional cleaning team is on site daily.
