Occupational Therapy Doctoral (OTD) Program

The Occupational Therapy Doctoral (OTD) Program at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), Charleston, South Carolina has been approved for Candidacy Status through the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).  As of May 2018, MUSC is approved to admit students into the Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program for students to begin the program in May 2019.  Applications will open for the OTD Program on July 1, 2018.

The Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy will graduate its last class in July of 2020.

Our Occupational Therapy program produces graduating classes with:

  • Average first time pass rates of 93.9% and an overall pass rate of 100% on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification exam.  To view the latest program results, click here

U.S. News & World Report’s latest graduate school rankings named MUSC College of Health Professions’ graduate Occupational Therapy program #17 (tied) out of 164 accredited programs in the United States.
