Kodak launches local schools into new era
Onscreen—a nose-on view of the Space Shuttle Columbia (STS-80) which launched on Nov. 15, is carrying the latest Charleston County School District Can Do Project payload. Can Do, a business-education partnership with MUSC recently won a Kodak Education Technology Grant to use a state of the art imaging work station as shown. The workstation is used to digitize the projects library of images and get them up on the Internet. It will be housed in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine which will also oversee the training of teachers in its use.
