Feeling stressed, anxious or depressed? Simply looking for a way to relax and reflect on an increasingly busy way of life? Mindfulness may be right for you.

Mindfulness is the practice of intentionally focusing on the present moment. Originally developed from Eastern principals, mindfulness practice focuses on meditation and self awareness as a means of enriching one's life through the development of a non-judging attitude, intellectual curiosity, and compassion for self and others. This mindfulness program is for people who wish to develop a way to relate more directly with life and the situations that arise throughout daily living. Similar programs have assisted people with a variety of conditions and concerns including:
Stress - resulting from work, school, family, financial issues, physical illness, and life transitions.
Medical conditions - including chronic pain, high blood pressure, heart disease, gastrointestinal issues, and psychological stressors related to cancer and other chronic illnesses.
Psychological distress - including anxiety, panic, depression, fatigue, attention deficit, mood swings, and sleep disturbances.

The program will consist of once weekly group sessions for a period of eight weeks. Sessions will be Mondays from 3:30pm-5:00pm. Exact starting date is yet to be determined.
