The Jerry Zucker Ride for Hope is an annual event held by Charleston Ride for Hope. The Ride is a vehicle to raise money for local charities which are involved in helping in the fight against cancer. 90% of proceeds stay here in the Tri-County area and are used for patient care, research and personal needs of those affected by cancer. MUSC Hollings Cancer Center is one of the recipients.
The 6th Annual event will be held on Sunday, October 20. Start will be at Sewee Trading Post and Awedaw Green is the finish. In order to accommodate all levels of riders, there will be several routes ranging from a 3 mile family ride to a 60 mile road course. 10-mile Cruiser Ride will start at Awendaw Green along Intra Coastal Waterway and back. The ride begins at 8 a.m.
