Healthy male controls are needed for a PTSD research study.
This study involves one visit to the MUSC Institute of Psychiatry where Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation will be performed. TMS is a non-invasive procedure that involves very minimal risk which lasts approximately 30 minutes. In addition to the TMS participants will be asked to donate approximately 10mL of blood for genetic analysis. All genetic donations are de-identified. The duration of the study is approximately 3 hours and compensation is available for time and travel.
Participants must be:
- Men between the ages of 19-45 years of age
- No history of epilepsy or seizure disorder
