Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Treatment Study for Bipolar Depression

Are you interested in an alternative treatment for your bipolar depression?

Participants with depression are needed for a research study on the safety and efficacy of rTMS (repetitive Transcranial magnetic stimulation) in subjects with bipolar depression, taking mood stabilizers and previously unsuccessfully treated with antidepressants.

rTMS is a noninvasive technique that uses magnetic pulses to deliver stimulation to the brain.

Participants will have pre-study screening followed by a 6-week treatment period.
Participants must be:

- Diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder who are in a current depressive episode
- Between the ages of 22-68 years of age
- Have not had TMS, DBS, or ECT treatment in the last 6 months
- Without a history of epilepsy or seizure disorder
