This lecture is being held in honor of MUSC Brain Tumor Action Month (BTAM):

To date, there are no cures for malignant brain tumors. The MUSC Brain & Spine Tumor Program aims to change that fact: May is nationally recognized as Brain Tumor Awareness Month, and the MUSC Brain & Spine Tumor Program takes ACTION to raise awareness in our local community about brain tumors and the need for research funding by hosting several events throughout the month - this is why we call our awareness campaign: MUSC Brain Tumor Action Month!
