For Future or Current Parents - Child Care Needs Assessment Survey
A group of faculty and staff have recently formed an MUSC Child Care Committee to examine possibilities to improve access to child care for the MUSC community. Unquestionably, one of the more significant challenges facing dual career or single parent households is access to high quality, convenient, and affordable child care. As such, the Committee is requesting the assistance of the Provost's Office in disseminating a Child Care Needs Assessment Survey and I am pleased to accommodate that request. Due to the current economic climate, MUSC is not in a position to financially subsidize a child care center, or sponsor one, but there are potential alternatives with independent agencies who may be attracted due to an expressed need. We must first establish what the need is and the associated financial opportunities. For that reason, I encourage you to complete this survey.
To begin the survey, please proceed to this online link: https://www.research.net/s/musc_childcare
Please complete the survey by April 5, 2013. The survey will not be available after that date. Results of the survey and additional information will be available through the MUSC Child Care Committee and the Office of the Provost later this fiscal year.
Thank you for your participation.
