March is National Nutrition Month - in honor of the theme "Eat Right, Your Way, Every Day", the MUSC Dietetic Interns present this daily nutrition tip.
Take your time. Be mindful to eat slowly, enjoy the taste and textures of your food, and pay attention to how you feel. Eating too fast or when your attention is elsewhere may lead to eating too many calories, fat and other nutrients. Pay attention to hunger and fullness cues before, during, and after meals. Use your hunger cues to recognize when to eat and when you've had enough.
