Flow Cytometry Facility Now Available to All Researchers
The Regenerative Medicine and Cell Biology Flow Cytometry Facility is now open to anyone wanting to advance their research with flow cytometry!
We currently use the Beckman Coulter MoFlo Astrios. It is the latest generation in the MoFlo line with upgraded lasers (355nm, 488nm, 561nm, and 640nm), electronics, and optics. It is able to perform up to 6-way sorting at high speeds and can detect 24 different fluorochromes.
The facility manager/operator, Chris Fuchs, has been working in flow cytometry since 2007. He previously worked at the Center for Human Immunology (CHI) at NIH where he ran all of the flow cytometry for the 2010 N1H1 flu study. He has extensive knowledge in flow assays including: cell surface staining, intracellular staining, cell cycle analysis, cell viability measurements, side population, and multi-color flow cytometry.
Please contact the flow facility for a consultation to see how we can improve your research. We're looking forward to meeting with you!
