National Sleep Awareness Week - Better Sleep Challenge

In honor of national sleep awareness week, MUSC Sleep Center is inviting you to take the Better Sleep Challenge during sleep awareness week. One week in which in which you commit to lifestyle changes that will have a positive effect on your sleep.
Day 3 Tip: Tuesday March 5 - Caffeine free. (no coffee, soda, energy drinks, chocolate, etc.) Limiting caffeine will increase the quality of your sleep.
Sleep Fact of the Day: According to the National Sleep Foundation, sleep deprivation is linked to obesity, hypertension and diabetes. And among children, the Penn State College of Medicine has found that excessive daytime sleepiness is more strongly associated with obesity than it is among adults.
