"The Extended SMAS Face-lift"
The objective of the lower facial rhytidectomy is a tangible rejuvenation of the cheek, jowl, neck complex. Natural contours void of surgical stigmata with justifiable longevity are imperatives. An extended SMAS dissection establishes a physiologic resuspension of the integral aesthetic components of the lower face providing protection of motor innervation while preserving the critical sub dermal plexus. The aggregate experience of 3256 cases will be demonstrated in detail.
