A natural gas drilling boom has swept the country. The new technology is called hydraulic fracturing, or "fracking." But is it safe? This film combines verit travelogue, expose, mystery, and bluegrass banjo. (2010, 107 min.)

Doors open at 2:00 pm; film starts at 2:30 pm. Free and open to the public! Q&A moderated by Marie Rogers Stevens & Stephen Cofer-Shabica following the screening. This is the second annual green film series co-sponsored by the Green Sanctuary and Sustainability committees from the Unitarian Church and Circular Congregational, with additional support this year from the Robert Lunz Group of the Sierra Club through their Educational Outreach program.
