Join this star-packed duo as they mix up tips and recipes for heart-healthy lunches that can be taken to school or work. This program will offer updated ways to brown bag your way to a healthy heart - great information for health care professionals and your average "Super Mom".

- Chef Joseph Palma - High Cotton Maverick Bar & Grill - Charleston, SC

Chef Joe Palma is the award winning Executive Chef at High Cotton, and though he has just recently moved to Charleston, he is no stranger. While attending the College of Charleston, he worked as a line cook at Slightly North of Broad. After graduating, Joe realized his true passion was cooking. He set out to Washington, DC where he landed a job and was included in Esquire Magazine's "Best New Restaurants." Before heading home to Charleston he worked in NYC and was featured on NBC's Today Show. You can now find Chef Palma as the Executive Chef at High Cotton.

- Janet Carter, MS, RD, LD - Sodexo Dietitian at the Medical University of South Carolina -Boeing Center for Children's Wellness Heart Health Program Manager

Janet Carter is a dietitian who specializes in pediatric weight management, but also has worked with adults and holds a certificate of training in both pediatric and adult weight management. She has been helping people adopt healthy lifestyles for over 10 years. In addition to her professional duties, Janet is a certified personal trainer and still finds time to excel as an Ironman triathlete.
