"Health Care Value and Quality: Examples in Transplant Surgery"

As a result of this Grand Rounds, participants will be better able to: list at least two initiatives that have the potential to reduce hospital length of stay for kidney transplant recipients; describe methods to identify and eliminate causes of early readmissions in recently discharged kidney transplant recipients; explain how comparative efficacy research can be used to improve the efficiency of medication utilization in kidney transplantation.
