Service/Recharge Center Educational Session - Do you have a unit that provides, or is considering providing, goods or services to other University groups for a fee? If the answer is YES, then we have an educational session just for you. We will be discussing Service and Recharge Center Operations on January 25th, from 10:00 - 11:00 am in the College of Health Professions classroom A205. Accounting 101 - Module II - Office of Grants and Contracts Accounting and Office of Research and Sponsored Programs Overview. - The next training date for Module II will be on February 8th from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm . MUSC financial and administrative support personnel are responsible for a variety of accounting and financial responsibilities. Accounting 101 is designed to introduce administrators to ‘need to know’ information regarding these duties; as well as, basic accounting information. Representatives from MUSC’s Finance Division will offer this training in a 9-hour certificate program that focuses on daily, monthly and year-end job responsibilities of administrative and financial support staff at MUSC. Research Roundtable: -Research Roundtables are information sessions hosted by the Office of Grants and Contracts Accounting and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs to discuss hot topics and current issues in the "sponsored projects world". The next Research Roundtable will be scheduled soon and posted here. The last Research Roundtable was on April 5, 2011. MUSC Financial Reporting (Money Bag Application): - There is an online tutorial that shows how to access the MUSC Financial Reports (Money Bag Application). It takes very little time, and is really easy to understand. If you need help accessing the Finance Web Applications, including the Financial Reports visit the following website http://www.musc.edu/vpfa/finance/systemsprocedures/sstrain/onlinetraining.htm then select “Accessing Financial Reports” and log in with you MNA ID and Password to take the tutorial.
