October 2007 |
| Jeff Waite, Lock Shop | Jeff was selected because he was extremely responsive and helpful when the nominator’s office was moved to a new space with very little advance notice. The relocation involved 19 people and 13 offices in two buildings, as well as 5 additional locked spaces beyond the personal offices. Despite the high volume of work in the Lock Shop, Jeff’s friendly and helpful attitude, when the nominator’s office staff were continually interrupting his normal workflow over the course of a week, was exemplary. |
| September 2007 |
| Dwight Chamberlain, University Maintenance | Dwight was selected because of the excellent leadership he displayed in directing multiple physical plant shops to complete the task of connecting “disinfection units” throughout seven departments of the College of Dental Medicine. His actions minimized interference to staff, and significantly increased productivity by allowing all departments to simultaneously switch to one disfection agent. |
| August 2007 |
| Odell Bennet, Sign Shop | Odell was selected as Employee of the Month because he met very tight deadline in Storm Eye Institute’s new pediatric clinic. New signage was necessary to pass an inspection and only minimal lead time was provided. Odell's quick response exceeded expectations. |
