Along with Nash Boutros, MD, I am currently involved in a randomized controlled trial with rTMS for the treatment of depression. Concurrently, we are examing EEG during the procedure and hope to have quantitative EEG monitoring in place within the year. My personal focus will be to assess efficacy of rTMS in treatment resistant depression, as well as potential monoamine mechanisms of action of rTMS.
