Depression: Rob Berman and Nashaat Boutros are currently at Yale's West Haven Veterans Administration Medical Center in Connecticut. Their current project is a randomized controlled trial of rTMS in refractory depression under the NIMH sham and active conditions (i.e. 20Hz, 10 days, 80% motor threshold; either angled off the scalp or over the left DLPFC). Additionally, we are concurrently getting EEG readings during the sessions and quantitative EEG readings before and after the course of treatment.
