Multichannel stimulation: Dr Risto Ilmoniemi writes: "Our experience with MEG instrumentation and mathematical analysis has helped us conceive some ideas concerning TMS as well; we now have a quite active TMS development going on, the main goal being multichannel stimulators that can focus the stimuli electronically to the target. We published our present state-of-the-art developments in the Amsterdam Conference (Ruohonen and Ilmoniemi; Ilmoniemi, Ruohonen and Virtanen) but we have not yet put much information on our Web pages. We expect some progress this year and as soon as possible, we'll provide more news. In any case, we are very enthusiastic about magnetic stimulation!"
