The Trident Health System/ Medical University of South Carolina Family Medicine Residency Program is doing an OSCE on 1/31/2013 at 1PM. They are looking for interested students to act as standardized patients.

You will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with Family Medicine residents, learn about the residency program and family medicine as a career.

The OSCEs will be for the residents and will be max 10 minutes. The OSCEs scenario will involve the standardized patients coming in for a common medical problem (like hypertension, diabetes, etc.), asking questions pertaining to lifestyle modifications such as healthy diet and exercise. The residents will be provided with materials to help them provide these lifestyle modifications to you. You would be given a script/ guide for the OSCE in advance.

They are looking to have 4-6 students for this project.
