SRTS 2010

Continuing Focus on Competent Practice

 

The annual Southeast Recreational Therapy Symposium will be April 7-9, 20010, in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

We encourage you to submit a paper on any relevant subject and are particularly interested in outcome measurement, practice competencies including academic preparation and clinical applications, intervention skills, and examples of program/techniques in integrated healthcare systems.

The SRTS will focus on recreational therapy as a treatment modality.  Sessions should be congruent with this focus.

Speakers will once again be offered a complimentary registration (only one speaker per presentation will be given registration). Speakers will pay for their own meals, lodging and transportation. We are assuming that you will be available to present on any of the days of the symposium. If your proposal is accepted, we will confirm in writing the day and time of your presentation. The deadline for submission is November 30, 2010. Speakers selected will be contacted.
