In the Fall of 2007, the MUSC Chapter of SNMA, along with other local organizations, participated in the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Foundation's Women's Health Symposium: Remembering Our Health. The symposium was held at Burke High School in Charleston, SC. We provided the following screenings: blood pressure, cholesterol, height and weight, body mass index, osteoporosis, glucose, HIV/ AIDS testing, medication counseling, hearing and vision, and nutrition and diet.
