The purpose of the South Carolina Traumatic Brain Injury Follow-up Registry (SCTBIFR) is to describe the health outcomes and service needs of South Carolinians after discharge from the hospital following a brain injury. At one, two and three years after injury, participants are interviewed about their health including physical and emotional well-being, life satisfaction, persistent symptoms and secondary conditions, return to work and school, and the use of and need for different services, such as employment, transportation and rehabilitation services.

This website has been created to share the one year outcome information collected by the SCTBIFR. The SCTBIFR receives financial and technical support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).>> READ MORE.
