The Spinal Cord Injury Research Fund was established in 2000 by the State of South Carolina legislature (Bill S54 44-38-510 ) to promote research to develop better understanding of causes and effective treatment strategies for paralysis, sensory loss, and other consequences of spinal cord injury and disease.
