Abstract:	This module describes the key risk factors of oral health in aging and why there is a crisis in care. It introduces the common conditions affecting geriatric oral health and consequently, overall health. It analyses modifiable, inherent and unchangeable risk factors affecting oral and overall health in geriatric populations. It discusses the warning signs for oral cancer and the physical findings that signal oropharyngeal cancer.
