Charges
For new proteins, there is an initial $300 fee to perform a test expression and preliminary purification. If the system appears suitable for protein production, a quote will be prepared, which is based on the expected number of purification steps required. This quote must be approved by the investigator prior to any work commencing.
One column prep - $300
Every additional column - $100
Refolding from inclusion bodies - $100
These fees include media preparation, cell growth & induction, harvesting, lysis, gel electrophoresis, and buffer exchange/concentration of the final protein (if desired)
One column prep - $350
Every additional column - $100

To run a single column only, including SDS-PAGE - $100
$25 per hour instrument time
Crystal Screens I and II, JCSG screen (192 conditions) - $200
Each additional screen of 48 conditions - $50
(includes screens, plasticware and labor)
The crystal trays will be stored in the X-ray crystallography facility and can be monitored by the investigator or Dzmitry.
