Creating Collaborative Care (C3)
One Compliance Assessment, Core Requirement 2.12, remains: “The
institution has developed an acceptable Quality Enhancement Plan and
demonstrates that the plan is part of an ongoing planning and
evaluation process.”
After considerable campus-wide discussion, analysis, and debate, MUSC
has selected the focus of its QEP — Creating Collaborative Care
(C3). This bold initiative is in response to the fact that today's
health care system is highly complex and involves the interaction of
many different health care professionals in providing optimal patient
care. Creating Collaborative Care (C3) will provide the framework for
redesigning MUSC's training of future graduates not only to
continue to excel in the technical aspects of their own chosen
profession, but to excel in today's complex interprofessional health
care system.
