Reusable Office Supply Exchange

MUSC Recycling offers a number of special recycling services to campus offices who are cleaning, moving, or purging files.  Our latest program is the ROSE program.  We also provide extra recycling bins for office cleanouts that produce various types of paper.  Our recycling services help you save time, lower disposal cost, and provide environmental benefits.  

What is R.O.S.E.?

This wonderful program matches reusable office supplies you don't want with people who want them.   Someone else could use surplus supplies lying around your office taking up your valuable space. You may also be able to find FREE supplies you were thinking about ordering.  This program saves time and money.  

Where?

This service is conveniently located in Parking Garage I, Room 104.  The room is locked, so knock on the door.  If none answers go next door.  Make sure to have your MUSC ID badge.  Please call 792-4119 a week in advance to schedule a pick-up of reusable supplies or drop them off when you come to look for supplies.

How?

This service works only when we receive donations and when you want supplies.  When you bring supplies we will shelve them for you.  Bring your MUSC ID and help yourself to the items you need.  Use the logbook to record what and how much you took.  It's that simple.  Appropriate items for R.O.S.E. may include:  pens, pencils, manila folders, hanging file folders, calculators, staplers, rubber stamps, staples, scissors, notebooks, notepads, binders, folders, envelopes, printing supplies such as laser toners and ink jet supplies, small desk top accessories, paperclips, rubber bands, etc.  Just make sure all items are in working order.

Current Inventory October 05'

The inventory is low but we do have a few items:   1 tape dispenser, contemporary desk top trays and sorters, 2 desk top calendar holders, 1 slim line phone,  slide carousels, plastic slide holders, desk top folder divider. Dozens of old used picture frames!

Lab supplies: one bag of 3 " tubes they are small and one bag of lids to fit the tubes.

Campus Mailing Envelopes 

Send all reusable campus mail envelopes to Mail Services PO Box 250825, for re-use.
