Important Progress Information

These charts have proven to be of great use to us in determining how we are doing.  The recycling program seems to be making a difference, but has a long way to go.  The recycling rate for Fiscal Year 03 was the highest ever at 26%.  We have fallen back from that due to loosing markets for some recyclables and due to state budget cuts for labor.  We are working on improving technology to insulate against future budget cuts.  One measure that shows we are making a difference is the solid waste per square foot.  We have reduced the solid waste per square foot by 16%. Check out the ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS PAGE!
