The Medical University of South
Carolina Investigative Division is charged with
conducting investigations into criminal complaints.
Investigators conduct follow-up
investigations requiring additional or more in-depth investigations
on cases initiated by the patrol division and are called to process crime
scenes and collect physical evidence using state of the art law enforcement
equipment. In addition; they oversee the documentation and storage of
evidence and property collected and also provide fingerprinting service to
students, faculty, and staff.
