Vidya H. Upadhyaya, M.D., completed her medical training at the Seth G.S. Medical College in Mumbai, India followed by an internship in Psychiatry at Wright State University in Dayton, OH. She then completed her Psychiatry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by subspeciality fellowship training in Addiction Psychiatry, and a second fellowship in Brain Imaging at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is Board Certified in Psychiatry with several years of clinical experience in the treatment of a variety of psychiatric disorders with special interest in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addictions, and comorbid (psychiatric/addictive) disorders. |
