upadhyah@musc.edu | | | | | | | | | Biographical Sketch | | | Dr. Upadhyaya came to MUSC tp complete his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, and addiction psychiatry after his general psychiatry residency training at the University of Cincinnati. After his fellowship training, he remained at MUSC as a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He is board certified in general psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and addiction psychiatry. Dr. Upadhyaya's research and clinical interests involve adolescents with comorbid psychiatric and substance abuse diagnoses. He has received several research grants to pursue his research.
