sonnesc@musc.edu Curriculum Vitae (pdf) | | | | | | | | | | Biographical Sketch | | | Dr. Susan Sonne is active in research and teaching as Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Pharmacy at the Medical University of South Carolina, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Clinical Neuroscience Division. Dr. Sonne received her BS in pharmacy from the Medial College of Virginia, and her doctorate in pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she subsequently completed an ASHP accredited residency in psychiatric pharmacy practice as well as a three year research fellowship in substance abuse research (sponsored by both the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the National Institute on Alcohol and Alcoholism). She is board certified in Psychiatric Pharmacy. Dr. Sonne has worked in the area of substance abuse treatment and research for the last fourteen years and has focused a good bit of that time in the area of dual diagnosis, specifically in the areas of bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, depression and substance abuse. | | | | | | | | | | | | |
