Biographical Sketch

Dr. Aimee McRae-Clark is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences with a joint appointment in the Department of Neurosciences at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. McRae-Clark completed an ASHP-accredited residency in psychiatric pharmacy and two years of a National Institute on Drug Abuse research fellowship. She is board certified in psychiatric pharmacy practice. In 2001, Dr. McRae-Clark received an Early Career Investigator Award from the College on Problems of Drug Dependence. Currently, Dr. McRae-Clark has a Mentored Career Development Award (K23) from the National Institute on Drug Abuse focusing on treatment of marijuana dependence. She has also received NIH funding to explore the treatment of comorbid marijuana dependence and ADHD, and has served as PI or a co-investigator on multiple pharmaceutical trials. She has authored or co-authored numerous journal articles and book chapters, focusing primarily on the treatment of addictions and dual disorders.
