Robert Mallin, M.D., graduated from the charter class of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine (USC) in 1981, and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia. Dr. Mallin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. After several years of teaching at USC, Dr. Mallin entered private practice. Prior to joining the faculty at MUSC Family Medicine, he practiced consultative and addiction medicine at G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital in Columbia, SC. Dr. Mallin is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. His professional interests include undergraduate medical education, family, and addiction medicine. |
