Dr. Lopez received his doctoral degree in Psychology from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina. He joined CDAP as a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Carrie Randall’s group to study the effects of alcohol and nicotine exposure during adolescence in mice. He later joined Dr. Howard Becker’s laboratory to study the effects of alcohol dependence on alcohol seeking and drinking behaviors in mice. He is also working with Dr. Becker as the project coordinator for studies related to the effects of stress and alcohol dependence on alcohol seeking and relapse.
