Biographical Sketch

Dr. Gwynette graduated from the MUSC College of Medicine in 2000. He completed training in both Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He specializes in practicing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with adolescents exhibiting features of Borderline Personality disorder. Dr. Gwynette is also interested in treatment of patients with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and ADHD. Dr. Gwynette joined the MUSC Department of Psychiatry faculty in 2006 and works in the outpatient Behavioral Health Centers in West Ashley and Mt. Pleasant.
