She completed her M.D. in Medicine and her residency in Psychiatry from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Deas is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and is the Associate Dean of the College of Medicine Admissions. She is board certified in Adult Psychiatry, Child/Adolescent psychiatry, and Addiction Psychiatry.
