Dr. L. Judson Chandler received his B.S. in Biology from Birmingham Southern College and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Texas. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Florida in the general area of Neuropharmacology. He was an Assistant Professor at LSU Medical Center before coming to MUSC where is currently an Associate Professor in the Departments of Neurosciences and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Chandler is on the Board of Reviewing Editors for the Journal Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research and is a permanent member of NIH-NIAAA AA-1 grant review study section.
