Dr. Book received her MD from Duke University and went on to complete her Psychiatric residency training at Duke University Medical Center. From there, she came to MUSC in 1995 as a Fellow in Anxiety Disorders. Subsequently she spent several years as an attending treating Mood and Anxiety Disorders before joining the faculty of the Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs to pursue her research interest in addiction with co-occurring anxiety and mood disorders. She has also completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Research here at MUSC. She is board certified in Psychiatry and in Addiction Medicine. |
